Doodle Jump
Doodle Jump is een van de meest verslavende games die ik ooit heb gespeeld! Doodle Jump is een game voor Iphone/Ipod Touch en is ontwikkeld door Lime Sky. Het spel is vrij simpel, wat ook een van de krachten is van deze geweldige game.In doodle jump moet je proberen de doodle (een groen beestje) via plateaus hogerop te brengen. Je springt dus met een mannetje van plateau naar plateua. Hoe hoger je komt hoe hoger je score zal zijn. Onderweg zijn er verschillende opstakels die ervoor kunnen zorgen dat je naar beneden valt. Voorbeelden van deze opstakels zijn: brekende plateaus, zwarten gaten en monsters. Naast dat doodle kan springen en naar links en naar rechts kan bewegen kan hij ook schieten. Het schieten is uitermate handig voor de monsters die veelal, in je scherm, van links naar rechts bewegen. Je kunt onderweg ook items pakken om nog sneller naar de top te klimmen. Zo zijn er jet-packs, trampolines, springveren en springschoenen. Naast het spelen van het spel kun je je statistieken bekijken je kunt o.a. bekijken: je topscore, aantal gespeelde games, langste speelduur en het aantal monsters dat je neergeschoten hebt.
Behalve dat deze game gewoon erg verslavend is wordt je door middel van de social features steeds weer opnieuw uitgedaagd om je score te verbeteren. Deze social features werken dan ook erg versterkend aan de verslaving van deze game. Zo kun je heel makkelijk je scores posten op Facebook of twitter. Ook tijdens je weg omhoog, zul je van andere spelers zien hoe ver zij zijn gekomen. Deze in-game scores zijn vrij uniek. Het integreren van Twitter en Facebook of andere social networks wordt steeds populairder en wordt steeds vaker toegepast door game-developers. Andere games die gebruik maken van social network features zijn: Beauty Resort 2 en TowerBloxx.
Als je de beste wilt worden in Doodle Jump kun je het beste nu starten met oefenenen. De hoogste score ligt namelijk op 2.2 miljoen. De game staat ook al weken op de meest gedownloade game in de categorie ” Top Betaald” in App Store. De game is overigens erg goedkoop en kost maar 0,79 Euro.
