Let’s Golf wordt uitgegeven door Gameloft. In tegenstelling tot EA Sports’s Tigerwoords zijn in Let’s golf alle golfspelers fictief. Indien je dit niet belangrijk vindt lees dan verder want Let’s Golf is een leuke Iphone game!Na het spelen van de tutorial waarin je alle kneepjes worden bijgebracht van het golfspel kun je starten met het tournament. In je eerste tournament heb je alleen toegang tot 2 golfbanen (Fiji en Engeland). Na het selecteren van een van de twee golfbanen kun je kiezen welk type tournament je wilt spelen. Je kunt kiezen tussen: 1-9 holes, 10-18 holes, 18 holes of 9 shuffle holes. De andere courses kun je unlocken door het winnen van trophies (zoals de longest drive) en door het succesvol afronden van de verschillende wedstrijden. Naast het unlocken van nieuwe banen kun je ook nieuwe spelers of items om je spelers te personaliseren (bijvoorbeeld kleren en golfballen) unlocken.
De verschillende golfspelers die je kunt selecteren verschillen in kracht, accuraatheid, herstel en putten. De open gespeelde items kun je gebruiken om je spelers bijvoorbeeld beter te laten putten. Overigens putten is het laastste onderdeel in het golfspel waarbij je de bal in de hole probeert te krijgen 
. Naast het spelen van de tournamenten is er ook een instant play en free hole mode. Als je instant play mode selecteert speel je 3 willekeurige holes. In de mode free hole kun je zelf een hole selecteren die je wilt spelen. De aanwezigheid van deze spelmodes is een grote plus van Let’s Golf aangezien 18 holes je al snel een half uur speeltijd kost door deze twee andere opties is Let’s Golf ook een prima game om even kort te spelen. Ik was verrast van de uitwerking van Let’s Golf. Als je bal voor een palmboom ligt moet je er niet vanuit gaan dat je deze in alle gevallen over de boom speelt, ook als je bal kort tegen de rand ligt van een bunker kan de bal zomaar terugkomen. Voor de personen die weleens golf hebben gespeeld weten precies waar ik het over heb.
Gameloft heeft echter nog een hot seat aan de game toegevoegd. Hot Seat is een multiplayer mode waarbij je via WiFi of door omstebeurt het device te gebruiken samen met een vriend(in) Let’s Golf kunt spelen. Ik heb ze beide gespeeld en werken beide erg goed. Alleen de WiFi verbinding zorgde af en toe voor wat haperingen; maar al met al niet storend.
De gameplay van Let’s Golf is goed uitgewerkt. Je kunt afstand bepalen door bepaalde clubs te kiezen, verder snel en richting kun je bepalen door op het juiste moment op de actie-knoppen te drukken. De game zelf geeft je advies hoeveel kracht je moet gebruiken in je swing of put slagen. Als je afgeslagen hebt kun je de bal ook nog wat Spin geven door rechts in beeld op de bal de richting te corrigeren. Heel handig als je een ” approach” doet naar de green. Er zijn in totaal 3 niveaus: easy, medium, hard. Het hard niveau is erg zwaar, en absoluut niet makkelijk.
Let’s Golf geeft je ook toegang tot Gameloft live. Op Gameloft live kun het overzicht van je trophies bekijken of een chat starten met je vrienden. Erg leuke feature moet ik zeggen, met name het trophie overzicht zet je aan om door te spelen om zo alle trophies te unlocken!
Ondanks dat Let’s Golf niet gebrand is door een bekende golfer of dat de golfbanen niet de echte championship courses zijn is Let’s Golf een van de betere golf games voor mobiel.
